I don't know how many Liberians feel the same. But I know we are many. We end up voting to the guy who belongs to our tribe, religion, or a family friend or a relative.

We have no one who truly represents what we envision for our country. Every one of those leaderless Liberian may have a different vision, but we have one Common factor. Which is the people who are called Political leaders in Liberia today, are defintely not our political leaders, they could be anything else, a relative, a friend whatever but certainly don't represent our poltical vision.

George Weah the head of CDC , doesn't represent the CDC, although he tries to get Liberians under his Umbrella. Knowing that he will call on the same old fishes if he do win. because he is lack of expeirence in politics. To protect his presidency he will have to call on those same big fish.

Ellen J. Sirleaf represents unity party, another medievel taylor Sect like Cllr. Varney Sherman - LAP and Cllr. Charles Brumskine, ESQ. And for the last few years tried to have a party that represents a bigger liberia base, all attempts ended up in failures. ,

Today some say we have other options, really? They say the CDC, UP. Oh yes may be an alternative for the ultra liberals of those who have been leaderless.

Others say the LAP, ESQ, Oh, but who wants to be with the hypocrites rising the flag of thier self intrest and all what they want is to be powerfull and rich.

So what is left for us, still leaderless, chose a leader among the above for the sake of voting, or at least again to go to the ballot box to vote for the least harmful.

So who would you vote for today in Liberia if we have a Presidential election?

I would vote for George weah, not because he is the best but the best of many bad options.

I really hope one day to find a person in Liberia that I am completely convinced of, not just to chose one because he is the least harmful.

I would vote for a canidate that has not only Liberia at heart, but Liberians. One who will forget about his/her own personal gains and focus on the well being and the development of the country. A selfless person who will want to bring Liberia to a standard that is internationally accepted. I will not vote for a canidate that is trying to win a popularity contest, but one who is well qualified to represent the Liberian people.

Let me give you some ideas.
Popular people with good moral status have always been winning from the day we both pulled our head out of our mothers to see this world. They will continue to win until we both go 6 feet under the ground.
They were many before you who tried to stopped it, but they end up not being able to do so unlike you too in progress.
So, Ellen is a giant, with hugh experience, but unfortunately, unfavored. On the other hand, Weah is a midget with small experience, but greatly favor. The Liberian people decided to put Weah over Ellen.
Remember, a midget siting on the shoulder of a giant can see much futher
than the giant.
Accept the facts now while you can. Popularity always win.

Look,
Whatever you call yourself, Its understandable that you are so opinionated about this whole Weah and Ellen issue. If you intend to comment on this issue, try to make credible arguments. I must point out to you or others that this forum is not a battle ground for Weah or Ellen fans. Your numerous statements regarding this issue has led to the conclusion that you are insanely obsessed with this issue, and in the process trying to impose your views on others which seems quite unreasonably. I want to believe you hyperventalite when writing these statements. You also seem to be quite a dominant character.

One point that people like you seem to miss is whatever the outcome, life will still go on in Liberia for Liberians. The outcome of this election should not be assumed to be the end, rather the initial path to recovery.

On another note, if I were you, i would be booking an appointment to see my doctor. From the look of things, your blood pressure would have risen from the over excitement.

guest...or whatever you are, something is wrong with you. This topic is meant to discuss about the electiopn process going on in Liberia, if you don't have any input ---keep your Sigmund Freud observations to yourself better yet, go get a shrink. You are one of those Liberians with no passion.
Life will go on my butt.[/list]

Blacky Rolling Eyes ,
You misinterpreted me mister. I said discuss with credible argument rather than mouth bashing.

Try to start your sentences with a capital letter, and elections is spelt with "ion" not iopn. Opps, I forgot that English is your second language, better yet , you could do better. Passionate my *** Laughing .
