God this is disgusting!
Much has been done to tackle racism in Europe lately. Though there is cleary much work to be done |

Change can only come from an individual.
I just wonder how people feel hating on others
just because of the colour of their skin, or the
fact they are not from the same geographical
area.
Believe me I even hear little 4 year olds saying
things that they have obviously heard from their
parents. It is really heart breaking.

No matter what's been done to eradicate racism, it will always be here. Why? It is passed down from generation to generation.
You can re-educate sometimes, but those things you learn at home................are hard to forget. Especially if it's all you were taught. |

Yeah, but lot's of european nations have recognised they have a problem and have taken the matter quite seriously. England and Germany come to mind. Things aren't perfect, but they are miles better than what it used to be. Anti racism laws are actually very stringent. In Germany you get arrested for giving a Hitler's salute or denying the Holocaust actually happened.
And in England a racist remark in the workplace will likely cost you your job. It's not seen as acceptable. When that sort of racist taunting happened in an English football ground (with Thierry) the regulating body threatened to demote the club for it. And Thierry still stands and plays. |
