I am looking for descendants of George Siafa Shamel Sherman

I am looking for descendants of my great grandfather - George Siafa Shamel Sherman, born 12/31/1896 or 12/31/1895. He was born in Cape Mount, Liberia, west Africa. He came to the United States with missionaries in the early 1900s. The resided in Fort Mill, SC, United States. He died February 15, 1959. He was married to the late Margaret Steele Sherman and they had two daughters Lula (now deceased) and Lena (who now resides in Philadelphia.) The only other information I have is that the is a descendants of the Tubman people of the Vai Tribe.

I am looking for any information as to his parents, sisters, brothers, etc. who did not come to the United States. Also, looking for birth records on him, sisters, brothers, parents, etc.

His parents may have been with those who came back to Africa. Any information that will help me in locating my family and their history will be appreciated.

It is correct that the Sherman's name is popular with the vai tribe. It could be that because this vai person lived with
Americo-Liberian person and adopted that name. Or it is a vai name and all those who carry this are related.
In either case, I know few of the Sherman's families. I worked with one of them in the Ministry of Foreign
