there is never a good excuse for a man to beat his wife ..If you can, you need to get away from your husband, stay with a friend or relative who you can talk to.To me I call that domestic violence.
See .. A sister always gets beating up by her husband its soo sad to see her go through Hell but she cant leave him WHY! because She loves him....
If that was you. HOW WOULD U DEAL WITH IT? |

It is a proven fact that only a punk beats on his woman. And on the other hand, only a very low self-esteem woman will want to be with a man who beats on her everyday. |

I had 14 years of physical abuse and mental abuse.
Men who do this are soul destroyers. After my divorce
it took me 3 years to find my old self again. 9 years later
and sad to say I find it very hard to trust a man.
Please Brothers this is not meant as an insult or downing
anyone of you. You see when you are tortured every day,
insulted and abused, you go into a shell.
All I know is that it will take a very special man to find the
key to my heart.
I urge anyone who is being abused to take courage and leave.
Once a man hits you it will never get better.
Your parents did not give birth to you and raise you so that
one man can come from no where and use you as a punching bag.
If you have children be aware that they know what is going on.
It affects them and later into adulthood they cannot bond and
have stable relationships. Better to be alone, and allow God to
help you get through life than stay with a man that you live in
constant fear of.
There is a better way..

Needless to say......I don't think I would do too well in prison! I'm much too cute y'all!
So the first attempt to hit me, I would leave! I don't care how much I love you, how great the sex or how much history we have together.....I'm out the door!
I've read that sometimes a woman is so badly abused she can't seem to find her way out......but sometimes by God's grace they do.
Contrary to what the other person wrote.....these women didn't start out with low self-esteem. It started with the men in their lives....and yes fathers, brothers, and sometimes even mothers. If you know someone like this, pray for that person, because they can't find the strength to pray for themselves; and worse than that, they don't feel they deserve it! |

Again 3years too late I think........
But lets look at the Chris Brown and Rhina situation. You don't know what you will do until you are faced with the situation.
I won't call the women having low self esteems because an abuser is very crafty. This abuse doesn't just start physically. Its mentally, emotionally and then of course then it manifest into physical.
What I can say and I am guilty of this is that we as women see the signs in the early stage but we are so caught up with being in love with ourself by ourself that we don't take off our shoes running..........
Now the aftermath.......please screw that......I GIVE NO MAN POWER OVER ME.....the only way you can come from my (past) into my reality (future) is if I let you.... Yesterday is gone today is another beautiful day......loneliness is a state of mind..... |
