I want to share a rainy night
a cup of hot chocolate by the fire place
or maybe a strawberry or two
I want share gentle hugs and tender kisses.
I want to grow old cuddling.
I will wipe away your tears, and share a smile with you.

How do you measure your strength?

Don't tell me about the house you bought by yourself, the nice car you own, or about your good job, don't tell me that your are raising 3 kids by yourself, While all this is good.
Don't tell me of your possessions,

but tell me what you possess

Tell me about how you can walk beside me,
how you can and will inspire and encourage me.

Tell me how you will support me when the going get tough.
Reassure me you will stay by my side when the enemy comes.

Tell me of how you will strive to build and hold my name high among others,
tell me how your criticism will build and not destroy.

Tell me your love is unconditional and you understand,
tell me you care.

Tell me of honesty, confidence, of honor and virtue.
Tell me of courage, fortitude, of persistence and steadfastness.

INTRIGUE ME, EXCITE ME, FASCINATE ME, CHERISH ME

Let’s work, grow, live, play, and most importantly pray together.
Don’t ask what can I do for you, but instead ask what "we" can do together.
Strong black woman do not fear, this is not just about me, it is about us!
For all this strong black woman I too will do for you.
