LOL Girl....you made me spit on my computer!!!
That's a classic case of the "forgotten" syndrome!
After one of my mom's beatings, her next statement was: " I better not hear a "peep" out of you." Ok, now who takes pain in silence? That is what really got to me.
Or: "Look you made me forget what I was doing"; if you forgot what you were doing five minutes before my beating, how long would it take you to forget the "life-transforming" beating you just gave me?
The ironic thing is, I find myself saying the same thing to my daughter. I tell her she was so terrible, the beatings were so many, they are all a "blur"!  |

I always said. "I will never touch my children" . My Sister, when they start and I remember those labour pains, and then check out their stupidness, de ting dey make me become my mother's twin.
Do you remember that saying..
I brought you into this world and I will take you out of it
I have heard it so many times.. and I have used it too (I no go lie)
