Male Circumcision

Male circumcision is almost I would say a practice that is just
taken for granted without questioning.
Recently, I was of the mind that if I ever had a son he would
be circumcised.
I have to say in view of recent knowledge and and understanding
I have changed my mind.
Why do we circumcise baby boys, men about to get married
and those who have reached a certain level in life?
Is it religion, is it culture/tradition?
Is it for health reasons?
I would like to hear everyone's opinions. Let's talk openly and
honestly about our individual opinions.
We may not all agree with every comment, but we can begin
to understand other people's ideas.

That is a very good question...

Well in my opinion God made us the way we were born since the beginning of time, so it must have its purposes.

LB, LB, boy stop! If God had intended that the foreskin remain untouched, He wouldn't have given a mandate to have it removed as part of His covenant with the Jews. That aside, there are medical reasons why it's healthier being circumcised. One, it prevents particles from accumulating under the flap thereby creating an infection. It is also increases the possibility of contracting STDs and/or HIV/AIDS.

Two, it is said that a circumcised penis gets more pleasure points than an uncircumcised one. Plus it looks way better too. Smile
