It seems I am the only one in this part of the world (Clarksville, TN) who is from Liberia; well, with the exception of Annie and her four kids. They are 238 miles away.

I am not sure I saw my elementry and junior high schools in the list, so it will be difficult to find my classmates. I went to Kaytoken Junior High School in Jarkaken, Liberia (River Gee County). I also went to A. T. [Antoinette Tubman] Day school (afternoon) in Zwedru, G. G. County. I went to Batist High (Robert Baker Richardson Baptist High School (RBRS).

Give me a holla!

I am sorry that you have not found any of your classmate yet. I hope someone will read to get in touch with you. In the same light I'm searching for any of the students who went to LASS(LAMCO Area School System) High in Yekepa. Is there anyone of you comrades out there? We need to reconnect to our roots. I often see Carroll High folks but not us? What are we doing guys/gals? Give me a holla.

Hi Komoh, I'm just about two hours drive from you. I live in TN too, Chattanooga to be exact. We have a couple of Liberians here also. One of which is a well known and highly respected female medical doctor. Many of us prefer her services since we can all speak the slang and understand one another easily. Mainly, we want to promote her services and profession too, instead of letting other doctors 'chop' our money.

Hey, Omontee, I don't know if you've heard about the LAMCO Reunion, Yekepa Homepage and other websites about those who lived and work in Yekepa or friends/lovers of Yekepa. There was a reunion last year July in Atlanta which I attended. Many of your ex-schoolmates/classmates were there. There is a link within one of the website in which you can state your former school(s) and class(es). When you sign in, you will see the names of some former classmates/scholmates. Hope this is of help. Bye for now.

One well-known professor teaches at the Univ Of The South, located in Sewanee.
