Who is actually fooling the Liberian People?

The National Elections Commission (NEC) has lambasted The Analyst newspaper for what it claims irresponsible and incorrect allegations about the accuracy of preliminary voter registration figures released recently.

I have grave misgivings about political pundants. The vast majority are not pure of heart. There is always a dark side to their agenda.

As a basically new/renewed country, the next president is of utmost importance. His/Her power, or lack thereof will determine the fate of the populus.

If he/she is a good president, than the power of the office will be a rallying cry for the nation to rise up and be proud, strong prosperous and free.

If however, he/she is a bad president, the governors of the counties will yield the power duly given them by the people. That is how democracies work best.

On another issue which may or may not have relavence, Foreign investment is urgently needed/required.

Financial freedom is perhaps more crucial to this nation than is military strength. Our cousins can supply all the power we need. We will of course return the favor when required.

Our cousins really don't like this genocide going on in Africa. Neither do we. We are the only bastion of freedom on this continent and must allow it to our fellow Africans even at the peril of our own blood. There are some things worth fighting and dying for and this is the only one I can justify in my mind.

I have seen atrocities that have been ignored primarily by Europeans. We are better than that. It is our turn to stand up for justice and freedom. We have no bigger cross to bear than saving our own people.

We have seen greatness before and we know it resides in all of us. Let it come forth and be realised by all.
