I have visited Liberia during 1989 for 9 months. At that time my dad was working for the United Nations and was posted in Harper, Liberia. I have nothing but wonderful memories of Liberia. The friendly people, the abundant of natural resources and the magnificent landscape is still fresh in my mind. I stayed in Harper for the most part but traveled though out the country with my father. If any one lived in Harper during that time I would love to hear from you.
Currently my elder brother is posted in Liberia as a UN observer. I always get updates from him regarding all the progress that is taking place right now. I probably will never have the opportunity to visit Liberia again but I have tons of good memories of that country.
