TOGETHER FOR LIBERIA PEACE..........

Hi, First of all I would like to introduce my self here as a reader more than a writer, I really like this site and forums and I love how we discuss and deal with different subject here…. MUCH RESPECT.

Today I was thinking about we all take a minute to think about Liberia regardless which part of Liberia we from (north, south, east, west) We really need to discuss how to take Liberia out of this tunnel that we been in for more than 15 years and I really want to get out of it because the last few generations didn’t do anything about even though the did what they could do but Liberia still going worse, Now its our time to stand together against going backward and if we could not do it then our children will be living worse than we are doing now.

Ok, We all know that Liberia is going through transitional process now. And it’s going back and forth; barely Liberian (Like us) can effect any decision but why not thinking about participating just mentally (Thinking wise) on it. To get way easier lets just discuss it step-by-step, point-by-point, and we all know that there are few major points pausing the Liberian problem. Which are:

1, Tribalism and racism should be allowed no existence amongst all Liberians
2. Following the merit-system (survival of the fittest)
2. Corruption
3. Human rights
5. All Liberians should irreversibly turn their backs to rotten malignancy.
6. Availability of sound sincerity
7. Sizably shared-trust
8. Efforts doubling for the up building of new Liberia

Today lets just discuss the first two points (Tribalism and Racism) And through the days anyone who has a point or an idea or even a word about any point just throw it here and we would love to discuss it all together starting from respecting the other views and answering politely and something that can be useful for all of us without forgetting the goal of it. (Making a chance) to move forward. (We would love that all people of Liberia regardless which tribe and which part of ethnic you belongs or just a friend of Liberia Just push Liberia forward).

This is my point of view about this subject and I hope most people read it and answer back on it for a useful knowledge for all of us and to reach a goal we are heading.

How can we stop the existence of Tribalism and Racism among us? As you may know that it’s one of the sole cause of our war.

Why cannot the Gios & manors, khrans and Mandingoes finish their problems?

Why are they Mandingoes not accepted generally in our country as Liberians?

Why are they African-American (Congon-people) considered still after all these years as settlers?

The easiest way to solve the racism issue is to institute a draft into the military. Get a proportionate cross section of Liberians together and have them all abide by the same rules and regulations. They all would have the same rights and responsibilities. They would all go thru this together. They will all realize together they are just plain old Liberian and will soon come to grips with that simple philosophy. Having a 2 or 3 year mandatory term in the military for every Liberian would end this problem in less than 1 generation.

The government that will lead over all the people and form the country, must be free from any tribe, religion, racism..ect. It will be base on the individual, each person has the same right and obligations as the other. It must be for a nation of Liberian. Tribes should be social socialites, with it members expressing their culture that do not violates the right of other or cause harm to the hold of Liberia.

Why cannot the Gios & manors, khrans and Mandingoes finish their problems?
These group belive in one tribe dominating over the other. They are living in the past, about 400 yrs.

Why are they Mandingoes not accepted generally in our country as Liberians?
Most are, but some want to be Liberian and be rule by other country.

Why are they African-American (Congon-people) considered still after all these years as settlers?
This is what you would call Racism against a group by the native people.

As a Liberian I believed politicians has divided Liberia and caused much bloodshed and hates. It is time we look at history and learn from it, not to make the same mistake.Liberia was a powerful nation in history, and was united. Lets look at the mistakes that was made and learn from them. We have many educated and talented people, who can build this nation again. If there is unity.We have all the resources, so lets do inventory and see what is best for all not some.

Your views are really appreciated and Liberia comprehensive peace should unequivocally be aspired for and consequently pin=pointed and properly targeted. Related efforts are to immediately get launched but, before everything else we drastically need the availability of the following nagging issues:

Then the impossible may tend to shoutingly prove possible.
