THE FATE OF THE YOUNG STUDENTS OF ST LUKE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE LIBERIA.
I am respondinding based on the information concerning st luke school of medicine liberia , why is it that liberians have decided to act in this way , it doesnt speak well of liberians and will make foriengners planing to have some thing with liberians to see them as a cruel and unreasoonable country , we all know that liberia was at war , how could u have a fiscal structure for a medical school when the whole country was torn down becos of war. The liberian government gave st luke charter to issue certificate and the students of st lukes has been training in other medical schools ,who understood that they couldnt operate in liberia becos of war . They were taken into several medical schools and they ran their programs with their students and at the end of the session exams was conducted for them .Evidence of this can be proven . instead of liberian authorities investigating and even asking this students to come down and defend their medical degrees , which every reasonable and friendly country would have done so as to acertain if these students were properly trained , instead they just wrote these students off to their fate , these are peoples lifes at stake .It could have been any of their own children, i think they should give these students a chance to defend their certificate , they just wrote off the lifes of young men and women eager to pursue life. they should reconsider and think about these young people , when they entered the school most of them wrote to ministry of health liberia and were replied to by doctor isaac roland and told that the school does actually exist , so how is it their fault , they are also victims , not only of time , money and energy wasted but also of doctor rolands reply . Please i will be very glad if your well renowned news paper could advocate for the lifes of these young stars , this is a cause worth fighting for , this is a crime against the human rights of these young proffessionals .The same liberian government responded to ECFMG and WHO so that st luke was added to their directory , this is injustice , these youth checked and cross checked before joining this school how would u just wake up and tell them oh i said it existed before but now after sleeping i ve woken up to say it does not exist any more so u all can go to hell. Its grave injustice and this does not speak well of liberians .
Thanks very much for giving us opportunity to speak out we wish u will carry our voices far and make it loud and well heard by all.
