Happy holidays all . Good to be back . Speaking of holidays and the spirit , I thought to stop by to ask a question to see who still has it (whatever it means) and who doesn’t have it . Did Jesus call himself a Christian ? And if he did could you please show me where to find this in the bible ? . Just a simple Question needs a simple answer .
Merry Christmas |

I don't believe that Jesus considered himself a christian knowing that christian means christ-like or like christ. followers of Jesus are christians. just like natives of Liberia are called liberians not Liberia. |

Jesus is the Christ! Any one who accepts Him as their Lord and Savior ( John 4:42), you are called sons of God or Christians. |

To answer your question, no I have not read anywhere in the bible where Jesus called himself a Christian. Like
Phinnie
mention earlier,
Christian is a follower of Christ Jesus.
Jesus was not follwing himself, that's why he had his 12 disciples. If you read Acts 11:26 it tells you that
"the disciples were
called Christians first in Antioch."

Jesus was not called a Christian. In fact the term Christian was first used as a mockery of Christ's folloers. It literally meant little Christ. |

In fact Christ is not about religiousness, but about a direct relationship with the Father, made possible by the forgiveness of one's sins.
He who has the Son has the Father, and he who has the Father has Eternal Life. |
