Yes, they do. I don't know for what reasons, but they do. Meaning, it's not about them being African-American, but it's about their personalities, beauty, etc. You would actually have to find out what it is that attracts an African or Liberian man. |

I dated a Liberian man and didn't know that he was one because he was so Americanized. At any rate, I asked him was I the first African American woman that he had ever dated apart from his own. He then told me that all he ever dated is African American women, and that could never relate to Liberian women. He never elaborated on it, but I believe it's because of the social surroundings. Perhaps, they are surrounded by more African American women at the clubs, work force, or any other place that they go. It could also be a personality thing, not to sure about that. |

I think people are drawn towards people of similar interests and backgrounds.
I also believe we do no choose who we fall in love with, it is
something that just happens. Also I think alot has to do with
where you live and who lives in your area. The places you go
to, and spend time determine who you will meet in life

He sounds real ignorant. Why would you date someone who says he
can't
date his own? Self hating attitudes like that are soooooooo annoying. |
