I have been recounted some events about Liberia in the mid 70s and I wanted to know if they were true. I do not know the name of the areas but they were areas where Americo Liberians had built big houses and businesses including a large steelworks. Previously there had been peace between them and their neighbours with employment open for all and the plan to provide wells for all villages. However my friend told me about a genocidal faction who were heavily armed and aimed to destroy all Americo Liberians. They had a radio station that could give the Rwandans a run for their money and kidnapped and mutilated many children. They had an area based on a German Concentration camp where they had taken Americo Villages tyo die and were trained by an ex Nazi to use tanks against civillians. They tried to takeover the steel works but were defeated as was their Nazi training camp. It sounds worse than Cambodia and I want to know if it was true and who this Faction was. I am sorry if I have upset anyone I am not prejudiced and As I said this was an extremist faction not representative of all Africans

us all on.
It is a sad fact that awful things happen in this world..and the facts
do kept swept under the carpet, until someone demands answers.
