
The Issue of Partisanship-A Litmus Test for Job

The Liberian chief Executive Officer continues to make appointments in various sector of government, while the position for Director General at the Center for National Document and Record Agency is vacant. Liberians in the Diaspora and Liberians residing at home have complained about corruption and mal-practices at CNDRA.
The Liberian government continue to play deaf ear on the issue at CNDRA, which is been discussed in streets corners, hospitals, restaurants, on transport vehicles, schools and universities campuses.
Liberians in the Diaspora and at home have recommended Elijah Narplah Wreh, Sr. former director general of CNDRA from 1993-1999. According to a reliable source, president Sirleaf and other founding stalwarts of the Unity Party insisted that Mr. Wreh is not a partisan of the ruling party.
The issue is not about partisanship Madam President, CNDRA is beclouded with corruption and mal-practices. Liberians in the Diaspora, who have returned home to retain their deeds and titles, have complained how CNDRA is corrupt and employees at this agency charge quadruple the stipulated price. They maintained that CNDRA have lost it pre-war status.
Today, Madam President you make series of appointments in government while the situation at CNDRA remained unresolved.
In this direction, Liberians in the Diaspora and at home is appealing to you to find an amicable solution to the problem at CNDRA. The issue at CNDRA have created a serious public awareness and it need to be resolve.
