Roads :
Road travel is possible throughout the country, although it is unwise to head off without finding out about the latest political scenario from Monrovia. Minibuses and taxis run between Monrovia and Buchanan, Gbarnga and other destinations. Traffic drives on the right hand side. There are two major companies that provide car hire services for self-driven and chauffer-driven vehicles. An International Diving License is required, failing which a temporary Liberian License can be issued against a valid national driving permit.
