The usual business formalities apply in Liberia. The dress code is formal and lightweight suits or safari suits are worn to meetings. Evening occasions mean semi formal wear.
It is important to remember that Liberia has a fairly large Muslim(See Muslim) populace who have conservative dress ethics. Women, especially, need to have their arms and legs fully covered to be socially and ethically correct.
The Liberian government offers tax incentives for investors and welcomes partnerships in industry (See industry), mining, trade, and agriculture(See agriculture) and information technology. The currency(See Currency) is fully convertible and foreign exchange policies are very liberal. The country is doing its best to regain economic stability.
Business hours are 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
